The script “Inaugural” is now gone along with Holly, Tany, Cox, Tany’s kids, and Paul & Patrick Curry. The wall now reads “ World Champions”, and has added Chad “Shorty” Short, Jason “Logger” Leppek, John “Boozehound” Smith, Matt “Rip” Shaner, Nate “Bull Frog” Hall, and two new bat boys (sons of Leppek and Short). The Golds now have a counterpart in kids travel baseball (ages 8 & 9). They will be called the “Saginaw Young Golds” and will have an extensive travel schedule. Dennis “The Vanilla Gorilla” Konuszewski will coach the ball club. The two teams will promote each other through different events and dual programs. Richard Curry: “I see this as a way to bring more fans out to Ojibway and local ball parks – it’s a win-win”. The Gold website will be updated in February and will feature a 10 minute movie w/the 2011 season; 4 year Golds record: 72-23-2 (8 Tournament Wins). Harold Campau and the team are having Texas Hold’em tournaments to raise money for the team.
